A good friend of mine has been working on a book over the past few years called Awaken the Spirit — The Sacred Texts of Jesus — designed to present the Gospel to spirituality seekers, those who are interested in knowing more about Jesus and not the religion that man has created. Go take a look at the website and learn more about Jay and the book. But, briefly, Awaken the Spirit has been in development for several years, by authors and illustrators from all over the World, and has had support from many individuals and organisations in Australia.
Please, also take a moment to answer the polls on her site, as well as the Petition being compiled for a publisher to look at. I would encourage you to please support Jay and her team with this amazing effort. Jay, her husband Tim, and their young son, Tuscan, are part of a church plant called Loam in the northern inner city suburbs of Melbourne, and are passionate disciples of Jesus. Hi Neil, Great seeing you on the weekend. I never thanked you for the plug about the book and all your encouragement. It is getting more exciting with the Sample Chapter out. I've had some good response. The publishing world is tough tho. Anyway thanks Neil. Jay
