We started by sharing a light meal — and those guys at Revive certianly know how to eat! Amazed there aren’t larger members!
There are about 15 of us doing the workshop — the majority of thern from Revive. But, I am at a table with a Salvo Pastor planting in Doveton, a Baptist pastor planting in Sydney and one of the Revive team — whom I am discovering I have a lot in common with for dreams of church planting. In addition to our table there are three other tables, two with teams from Revive and the fourth table — a team of Samoan planters — haven’t had a chance to talk with them but I look forward to being able to over the weekend.
Peter has some excelent material — and I was afriad it would be all old hat for me — but I am enjoying going through it with the team and getting some fresh perspectives. I also beleive that I will learn even more and perhaps discover things I have missed in the past.
Well — big day tomorrow — 12 hours straight. Should be good.
