I am a twitter user — nealtaylor — if interested, and one of the guys I have been following is a self-proclaimed atheist.
He called the church and Christianity immoral and I took the bait and asked why? His reason is for calling Christianity immoral is that our God sends those who don’t believe into Hell. Now, while we have being discussing this it got me thinking about alot of things including Hell, twitter and discussing with an atheist issues of Christianity.
Does anyone have any suggestions for apologetics about Hell?
My reasoning so far may not be agreed by many but is that Hell is knowing that God is Love and exists without doubt (afterlife wise) and being eternally separated from him. While it may not literally be a place of fire and brimstone — it it will be full of wailing and gnashing of teeth. So, does anyone want to discuss this?
