I have been thinking about how to fund my own work as a Community Developer and how I can best serve the community and those who are struggling within it, the homeless and poor etc.
So, know that groups provide micro-enterprise loans overseas — I wondered if such things would work here in the western world — Australia specific? Or does our own expectations and culture drown this out?

If it is working in New York – See Grameen Foundation, then surely it can work in Australia. The design is what matters most. Remember in the Western world, there are so many emmigrants
